Green Line

Acosorb's Green Line products feature a rich palette of warm shades of grey and are available in a diversity of structures and colours.

The origins of the Green Line can be traced back to the raw materials. Consumer Recycled Content is essential in this respect, which means that part of the raw materials used consist of everyday waste. This waste is carefully collected and then sorted. Essential to this is constant quality monitoring so that no substances are added that do not fall within the scope of the Cradle to Cradle certification. This is guaranteed by the ISO 9001 quality management system.

Available in different colours and textures

The products that fall under Green Line are diverse in colour and structure. However, not every colour is available in every finish. For example, the Hong Kong Grey option has a fine texture, which makes the result very similar to the structure of Acosorb DC2. The Apple Grey variety, on the other hand, is coarser and more comparable to the DC3 structure. These different textures result from the available combination of raw materials.

Acosorb Green Line applied in new BPD head office

A unique example of a project where the Greenline Hong Kong Grey option has been applied is the new BPD headquarters in Amsterdam, where the Burgerweeshuis was formerly located. 328 small and 8 large domes have been treated with a layer varying in thickness from 5 to 25mm. A specially developed rolling technique has been used to optimally track the substrate.

Cradle to Cradle

Sustainability is an important factor in business worldwide, which is why Acosorb has opted for Cradle to Cradle certification. The process took one year, resulting in the C2C Bronze certificate.

What does this certification mean?

Our products can be reused at the same level in the chain or returned to nature, where they are a source of new growth of similar products.

What you can achieve by using C2C products

With C2C products you get a higher number of points in the LEED, BREEAM and WELL certification systems. A good example of this is the Google head office on the Zuidas, which is equipped with Acospray. This has been carried out entirely according to the LEED system.
